Obtain Narcan® at a Pharmacy

Narcan is available by prescription at most pharmacies. Your primary care doctor can provide you with the prescription, OR the PA Physician General has issued a standing order for all PA residents. If you do not want to obtain the prescription from your doctor, print a copy of the PA Department of Health’s Standing Order DOH-007-2022 to take to your pharmacy. Narcan is covered by commercial insurances and medical assistance (Medicaid).
